I just drew this picture

that means I wrote a thousand words today, right

that's how that saying works

my personality test / icon creator is done !!! find out what you look like

(RTs appreciated!)

Think I'm gonna be werewolf-Jughead for Halloween. One of my friends was a Weird Sister from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (not one of them specifically, no wig or anything to match, just the same style dress, like a CAOS-sona).

Wonder if I could get any other friends to join me and have a whole Archie horror group theme.

Brown dragon for Etsy. Got another gold and bronze/copper to finish, and then I gotta fire up the sewbot and make a couple of blues and greens.

And my sister posted her notebook (adventure/bugs here: on FB and one of her friends wants to buy one so I guess I need to get some of those listed.

Since stores have decided it's Halloween and I'm seeing reminders everywhere, I keep wanting to re-read the Hocus Pocus novelization. Which is a *little* weird because, looking back at my notes from last year, I didn't actually like it that much.

I'll probably read it again anyway, but does anyone have some suggestions for other (better) Halloween reads?

:blobcatpeek: Did you know that I wrote a book and you can exchange money for it? Most of that money even goes to me and my cat!

It's a librarians-and-necromancy fantasy with
🧟 a pet(?) zombie
πŸ“š lots of research
✨ ancient magic
:blobheart_ace: (very) slow burn ace romance
πŸ§™ *so* many necromancers

Animorphs, not really spoilery

Yay, I finished at least one book (Wilder Girls) this month! Expect I'll also finally finish the Runaways audiobook I started at least a year ago now that I'm in the habit of listening.

Animorphs 1
Spinning Silver
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina novel

Between the last issue of "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and finally starting to catch up on She-Ra, I'm in the mood for magical girl stuff. Trying to find that in non-comics form mostly winds up with fairy tale retellings. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I'm slightly interested in the Lunar Chronicles but the Twilight-style covers are throwing me off.

Has anyone read it? Is it good?

Whew, work week's finally over. On chapter 21 of Wilder Girls, 1 hour and 16 minutes left.

I usually only listen to it when I'm walking or on work breaks, but I think I'm gonna just try to finish it off tonight instead.

Indigenous people!

Please share this and reply and be my friend! Let's create a community on here where we know we have someone who gets it!

I'll start, I'm Ojibwe. Raised away from the tribe, but am a full member now as an adult.

(If not indigenous, please still share, I wanna reach others)

There is! No point! To having! Single use! Gendered rest rooms!

Blehhhh early day tomorrow.

Wilder Girls is turning into my favorite book I've read this year probably. I'm on chapter 11 or 12, I forget. ~4 hours left.

Gonna start reading/re-reading Animorphs tonight. Woo!

I don't really get a weekend this week because bad scheduling (not my fault this time). And work sucks and I'm grumpy. Books are giving me hope and rest right now and just generally making my life less full of suck so yaayyyyyyy for that.
