I guess I should do some #introductions, eh?
I used to read a lot (mostly fantasy and scifi) but over the years I went from >100 books/year to 34 last year. Unfortunately that has not deterred me from accumulating even more books. It's a problem, y'all!
I'm hoping being part of this instance is going to motivate me to read more again.
Have touched the first book in months two days ago:
"I'll Be Gone In The Dark" by Michelle McNamara.
The older I get the more often I just go for non-fiction.
@Julia That was in my recommendations this morning. I'm interested to see how you like it.
I also have the "haven't read all the books I have, I think I'll get some more" problem. :D But I do find I'm reading a lot more now that I've finally embraced ebooks and can read on my phone whenever I'm just stuck waiting somewhere.
Even though that means buying books online instead of in stores and getting frequent recommendations of *more* books to buy.
@zephasaurus_hex It's not what I was expecting it to be. I know most of the facts already (I listen to so many true crime podcasts) and she's talking about herself a lot and adding unnecessary details.
I've already embraced ebooks but putting some on my phone might be a good idea. I have that near me at all times, getting out the Kindle is sometimes inconvenient. 😁
