#storyclub: unless there are any adamant objections, I'm going to switch to an every other week posting schedule.
I am thinking everyone must be busy with vacations or other summer activities (me: living vicariously through other people's recounting summer activities while I cower in the shade with my book... and still get sunburnt).
Also, I've been on a wonky schedule this week at work and haven't gotten a chance to read this week's pick. 😣
@Einahpets I've been reading but finding it a little harder to comment. Having a week to read and think and then a week to dive into discussion could be good.
No vacations here, though. Kind of the opposite. Apparently corporate decided there probably won't be as many customers in the summer (because people don't take meds in the summer??? Whatever their reasoning, they're wrong) and cut our allowed hours and therefore our staff (but not our workload) in half.
So. Tired.
@Einahpets thats fine with me! I was just gone for a week in the mountains with no cell service which i mostly spent playing cards around campfires and reading
@Einahpets That's probably a good idea. I mean, I've been meaning to apologize for ghosting, it's been a combination of #ReadingSlump and a med change. I'm hoping I'll be back in the game soon. @_@
